“It was ecstasy to shoot and play Karz tune on Rishi Kapoor in ‘Kaanchi’ after 32 years!” – Subhash Ghai
Subhash Ghai did it in style – as always. It was the first day of shoot with Rishi Kapoor and Subhash Ghai together in the film Kaanchi after their last film Karz.
The unit was thrilled to see Rishi Kapoor with a guitar in his hand and playing a business tycoon and devilish villain of the film.
In the very first shot, Subhash ghai said ACTION where Rishi Kapoor started playing his trademark guitar of Karz. Both embraced each other with absolute excitement.
Rishi Kapoor said on the first day of Kaanchi, “It was really nostalgic for me to work with my favorite director friend Subhash Ghai after 32 years and I am happy that we are making a rocking film together Kaanchi. I am sure my role in the film is going to be very lovable and memorable.”
Kaanchi is set to release on the 30th August starring Mishti, Karthik Tiwari, Rishi Kapoor & Mithun Chakraborty, music by Ismail Darbar, Salim & Suleiman.
